Suitable for those who previoulsy attended the Beginners Watercolour Workshop or new to watercolouring.   Watercolour painting in a relaxed and informative way. Tea, coffee and all materials and equipment provided

£27.50 per session.  £5.00 will be refunded at the workshop the contents of the follwing list is brought with you on the day:

Kirstin will be taking a break in July and August and restart on 11th September

Beginners Watercolour


Winsor and Newton Artists ’ Watercolour Tubes in three colours: -

 Winsor Yellow  Permanent Rose  Winsor Blue (GreenShade)


Round, watercolour brushes. Natural hair brushes are best as they absorb water and lift out better than synthetic fibres. SIZES: Number 12 and Number 4

140lb / 300gsm, NOT surface, around A3 in size. Pads that are gummed all around are good as they minimise cockling of the paper. Arches and Saunders are good brands, for demonstrations I use Hahnemuhle brand

A plastic palette, daisy well, for mixing washes Empty pans into which to squeeze your colours A tin in which to store your pans of squeezed colours Loo roll or kitchen roll 2B and or 6B pencil Eraser (on watercolour paper, slightly gritty ones work better than plastic ones) Pencil sharpener or pencil sharpening knife
